Women’s March
Details
This is a nationwide march that is in the planning development stages. It is on October 2nd, however, time and location is yet to be determined prior to the date, and may not be the same time that I have listed here. this is not an online event. There will definitely be a march in Lansing, but if enough people in the Detroit area sign up then there will probably be a march in this area as well. We can meet at a local park and carpool to the March location. (More information on this later.)
This March is not limited to women only, and men and children are encouraged to attend. Anyone who is upset with the Texas law about the violations to women’s rights, and the inaction of the US Supreme Court regarding this matter, should certainly let their voices and opposition to this unconstitutional law be heard.
Appropriate signs, hats, T-shirts are encouraged. Wear clothing for the weather conditions and comfortable shoes for walking, and of course bring water to stay hydrated.
