SUNDAY JAN 11 - Please join us for a TOTALLY SILENT rally. We will only be speaking through our signs. Here is how: For those who will feel inclined, we suggest bringing a large sign stating: I AM RENEE. One sign per person is recommended, but again not mandatory. A great alternative sign would be: I AM SILVERIO or I AM ___ followed by the name of one of the 32 people who died in ICE custody and that you can find listed here in the Guardian article: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/ng-interactive/2026/jan/04/ice-2025-deaths-timeline.

IMPORTANT note: The rally NO WAR NO ICE organized by the Socialists chapters of Detroit at 3 PM at Hart Plaza today is still happening and we are strongly encouraging everyone to attend! Socialists leaders from FRSO, PSL, and DSA will speak. We are admiring and supportive of the powerful program they put together and we look forward to attend.

Today, we are fighting together. Tomorrow, we’ll be mourning together. And next week, we will pick up the fight again.
