Welcome to the Toronto chapter of the Respond network.
Respond is a network of theoreticians and practitioners addressing the meta-crisis of the 21st Century. We develop and employ ecologies of practices in service of the cultivation of wisdom.
What is the Meta-Crisis?
The 21st century has been characterised by multiple difficulties and threats: nuclear war, environmental degradation, climate collapse, political polarization, educational decay, social media’s attack on human attention… the list goes on. A new term has been coined to describe the current situation: “meta-crisis”.

Respond believes that the meta-crisis is in large part due to a lack of wisdom.
Respond see's wisdom as a process that deepens alignment between View, Care and Action in Community. Respond: Toronto offers a gateway to access that process through structures such as events, workshops, courses and practices.
