Keynote Speaker: Roland Spiers – APM Registered Project Professional (RPP) & MAPM
Roland’s career was with HM Customs & Excise then HMRC – His experience covers VAT Auditing, Investigation, Land & Property Policy (Including defence of Policy @ European Court of Justice) as well serving time on the front line of Preventive Duties at Docks & Airports across London & the South Coast – but it is his time with the organisations Estates Directorate that Roland became involved with Project Management. One of the first in HMRC to gain MAPM and then RPP – Roland managed over 3,000 projects in rationalising, optimisation & vacation of estate. He led HMRC’s Special Project Team during the preparation for BREXIT and it is from that he draws on Project Managing through times of uncertainty & disruption. Having left HMRC last September Roland is now an independent Project & Change Management Consultant.
