Turbit (>2.2-2.5 mph). The medium rare hiker.

Across the street from the Christman trailhead, there's the Kibler School House. We've used the bathroom over there on many occasions. The house is owned by the Palmerton Area Historical Society. The person involved with the society lives next door and went to this school. He is going to give us a tour and also tell us about Christman farm. It will take about 1/2 hour and then we'll hike. The tour is free but any donation will be accepted. (It'd also be nice to give back for using the bathroom!)

The hike consists of waterfalls, big wooded areas and beautiful paths. There is some elevation and some flat sections - approximately 5 mi. Then if you would like to join me and if there's time, we'll drive to Sawmill Trail which has pretty waterfalls. Would be an additional 1.7 miles.

Come out for part of this or all of it.

Parking is scarce at this parking lot so park close. Bathrooms are available at the school house.

Hiking boots/shoes. Poles if you like, water, snacks. Bring orange.

Animal lover here but this is a human hike only. Please update status before the hike so I know who I'm waiting for.
