Moderate Due to Distance -Little Elevation Change - ~ 3mph

Imagine lacing up your boots for a casual hike… and then somehow wandering your way across two state parks like a woodland overachiever. That’s the magic of a park to park hike — it’s part adventure, part bragging rights, and part “Wait… are we still in the same park?”

On this adventure we will begin at Tobyhanna State Park and make our way over to Gouldsboro on the Frank Gantz Trail. There will be lakes, train tracks, beaches and even swings for your inner child to play on.

This is a lollipop hike with an average speed of 3mph. I am not a tour guide - just someone who enjoys people and hiking. Please take care of your safety and know your limits on the trails. All participants are responsible for their own safety.

Sturdy hiking boots and trail shoes are recommended—the terrain has rocks, roots, and a few sections may be muddy. Be sure to bring water and lunch/snacks to keep you fueled along the way. There are picnic tables at Gouldsboro beach. Steady rain will cancel the hike.
