Highlights of Hickory Run - Hawk Falls, Orchard Trail and Shades of Death

Turbit (>2.2-2.5 mph). Medium rare hiker. This is rated as moderate.

As promised! All total, it will be about 6 mi. If you're thinking that you drove really far and need more miles to justify this, you can add on trails near Shades of Death.

We'll start at Hawk Falls Trailhead since this parking lot is the busiest. We'll walk to the falls and take the Orchard Trail which all total will be ~4 mi. This trail runs along Mud Run. It involves elevation and some of the rocks may have moss and/or are wet.

Second part, Shades of Death and will park at the other end by the pond. Should be plenty of parking. It's a gorgeous trail running along a creek with PA waterfalls. 2.2 mi out and back moderate trail.

**Cell reception is non-existent in some areas.**

Please wear hiking boots/shoes. Poles. Water and snacks.

Will postpone if bad weather.

Animal lover here but this is a human hike only. Please update status before the hike so I know who I'm waiting for. I organize these hikes as a volunteer.
