Our third event was our best one yet, with 10 people showing up, achieving 100% attendance. (When does that ever happen?!) The atmosphere was really lively. My place can easily handle more than double that number, so join us at our fourth event!

As always, the event will be held in my apartment building, The Edmund, which is located directly above the Wegmans in Reston. Even if you've come to previous events, please read these details, as they have one reminder and two changes from previous events:

  • Please bring a bottle of wine and at least one cup to sample everyone's wines. If you're coming straight from work, you can buy a bottle of wine and a few disposable cups downstairs in Wegmans, if you need to. (They have a good selection of wine.)
  • Meetup charges me $180 every six months to be an organizer, so please bring $1 to help defray this cost. (A few people forgot about this last time.) Hope this massive sum doesn't break the bank. :-)
  • Wegmans offers free parking, so park there.
  • We'll meet in the Wegmans food court on the first floor of Wegmans. (There's also an upper deck to the food court.)
  • Please try to be at the meeting place a few minutes ahead of time. The apartment building attached to Wegmans is access controlled, so it's easiest if we all go up together as a group. (Once the event starts, I try to pay attention to everyone and not check my phone too much.) If you know you'll be an hour late (or something like that), please message me, and I can arrange a time to meet you in the lobby of my apartment complex, but please don't abuse this offer.
  • This week, there's an event in our usual meeting place that is scheduled to wrap up around an hour after our event starts (but there's no guarantee), so we'll start out in one of the other common areas in my building, on the same floor that we usually go to. At game time, we'll decide where we want to start out—the crash pad, game room, or patio. There's a decent chance we'll eventually make our way back to our usual place—the big room—once the party in there is over.

Looking forward to seeing you all!
