Humpday Hump (Tecate Peak)

This will be an advanced beginner / intermediate off-road ride to the top of Tecate Peak. We'll meet at the Mobile Station at 2210 Otay Lakes Road at 10 am and depart shortly after and take 94 to the Tecate turn and to Tecate Mission Road which we'll follow to the top. If we have good weather, the views will be spectacular. The route down will be slightly different. If there is interest we make explore of little of Sycamore Canyon on our way back.

I'm not sure if the Dulzura Mini Market street tacos are available on weekdays. If they are we'll stop there for lunch. But bring some snacks and plenty of water in case they're not.

I will pre-ride the route this week and provide an update on the conditions. Every time I ride this route the conditions are different. I suspect the trail is still in good condition but if not, we may follow the same route down as up.
