Border Wall and Tecate Peak Adventure Ride

Details
This route will take us to the southern terminus of the Pacific Crest Trail right next to the border wall. From there we'll follow the border wall west for a bit before diverging onto a curvy and hilly dirty road which will take us into Tecate (on the American Side). We'll take a quick break at the convienience store there before riding to the top of Tecate peak where we'll take another break for lunch (you'll need to pack one) and to enjoy the views. Then we'll start back down. At about 2/3 the way down we'll hang a left and take a different route down to CA 94 where the route ends.
The ride will start at the Sinclair Station at Cameron Corner in Campo. The start time is kickstands up, so please arrive a few minutes early for a short pre-ride discussion.
The entire route is almost 30 miles with almost all of it unpaved. If there is interest, we can add some more off-road as we head west on 94.
The border wall portion of the route is relatively easy, but the route to Tecate Peak is more difficult. Everytime I ride it conditions are different. I expect sections will be a bit challenging with the recent rains. I will try to pre-ride it before the actual ride and will provide an update on the conditions after the pre-ride. Right now I will say this route is not for beginner off-roaders.
