Retro Data is the brainchild of Andy Cutler and Justin Bird, co-organisers of DataToboggan and DataWeekender respectively.
As organisers, it's apparent how quickly the latest tech becomes the sole topic of conversation, but that leaves a huge gap for everyone bar the early adopters. We wanted to do something a little different and focus on practical frameworks, fundamental principles and real world experiences.
This first event is really a bit of an experiment to see what sort of interest we will get, both from speakers, and audience. If you have any feedback, suggestions, comments please reach out, we would love you to help us shape this into something really valuable.
