Classic Film Talk: Superman: The Movie (1978)

In light of the release of the new Superman movie directed by James Gunn, join us to discuss the one that started it all.

Whilst not the first Superman film, it is the one that is remembered. Whether it's due to Richard Donner's (The Omen, Lethal Weapon, etc.) action packed direction, Christopher Reeve's memorable role as Clark Kent and his alter-ego, or because of the rest of a star-studded ensemble cast (including Marlon Brando and Margot Kidder), Superman: The Movie revolutionised and some say kick-started the superhero movie genre.
