Toowoomba Retroactive Bytes: Debugging Our Digital Past

Join us for an in-person gathering of the Retroactive Bytes and Coffee Club here in Toowoomba. We're getting together to chat about the history of computing, share stories about the old systems and software we've worked with (or remember from back in the day), and generally geek out over how far we've come. Whether you spent your career maintaining legacy code, remember learning to program on machines that are now in museums, or just find the evolution of technology fascinating, this one's for you.

Expect a relaxed, conversational vibe—think coffee shop talk rather than a formal presentation. We'll swap war stories, laugh about outdated tech, and maybe discover some common experiences with hardware and software that shaped how we work today. It's a great chance to connect with other people in Toowoomba who get genuinely interested in where our digital world came from and why it matters.

If this sounds like your kind of thing, head over and hit RSVP so we know you're coming. We're looking forward to seeing you there.
