Join Edmonton investors Chad Harker and Carlos Yoneliunas for a practical discussion on what makes a short-term rental successful in the Edmonton market. They will share how to identify promising properties, and what key numbers to look at when evaluating potential deals. The session will include examples from real properties they have operated, showing how acquisition, furnishing, and management decisions impact returns.

Chad and Carlos will also cover the operational side of running short-term rentals, including aspects and tools that make hosting more efficient. They will touch on Edmonton’s current short-term rental policies and regulations and share insights from their experience as active hosts and investors. Expect an honest, experience-based presentation focused on what actually works in this market.

Speaker Bios

Chad Harker
Chad is a real estate investor and short-term rental operator based in Edmonton, Alberta. He runs the company Eco Escapes, which focuses on short-term rental properties. He began in the short-term rental field by converting part of his own home into a guest space and later expanded into multiple properties.

Carlos Yoneliunas
Carlos is a short-term rental host and investor in Edmonton and northern Alberta. He is part of the Canadian STR Investor network and is active in the local host community, sharing insights on property management and compliance.
