I know it can be done. I lowered my A1c from 8.4 to 6.8 in 7 weeks with diet alone. And by increasing the amount of exercise, it came down to 6.3 in another 5 weeks. My doctor has been reducing my use of oral meds, and my A1c has gone all the way down to 5.5 (all in about 6 months). I don't think I am the only Type 2 Diabetic in America to do this, so let's hear from some others. And, if you want to learn how to do this for yourself, just join the group. You don't have to try to do this all by yourself!
