What we’re about
✨ About This Group
This space is for Black adults who were diagnosed with ADHD later in life and are now trying to make sense of everything — the missed signs, the silent sabotage, the years of feeling “off beat” in a world built for a different rhythm.
You’re not broken. You’re wired differently. And now that you know? You get to reclaim the tempo of your life — with intention, tools, and community.
🧠 Who This Is For
This group centers the lived experience of Black adults navigating late-diagnosed ADHD. All are welcome to participate, learn, and engage — but the conversation, support, and strategies here are shaped by the specific cultural and life context of Black adults grappling with ADHD. We're focused specifically on ADHD — particularly how it shows up in the lives of Black adults diagnosed later in life. While we know many folks also experience co-occurring conditions (like anxiety, depression, or learning differences), our primary lens is ADHD: how it impacts our focus, time, work, relationships, and self-perception — and how we can build tools to thrive with it.
If you’re navigating ADHD alongside other experiences (as many of us are), you’re welcome here. Just know that our conversations center ADHD and the unique journey of understanding, managing, and reshaping life with that diagnosis.
Whether you’re just starting to unpack your diagnosis or you’ve been on the journey a while, we're a circle of folks who get it — No mask, no shame — just moving forward
