This is a six-week online class for writers of all levels.

Be ready to play with your writing, uncensor yourself, and experiment.

Your writing will become more raw, truthful, and wild.

## Winter 2023:Matriarch Wisdom​

This writing class isn't for everyone.

This class is for women who want to discover and write their matriarchal wisdom. It is for women who want to stretch the depth and range of their writing.

What wisdom has been passed down to you? What will your legacy be?

Writing is a journey into your darkest corners and wildest places. Uncover stories of grief and memory, sensuality and sorrow, celebration and sisterhood.

The writing exercises will organically lead you to your unfiltered, wild voice - sometimes dramatic, sometimes comedic, often both.

This class is a space for your feminine wisdom stories.

• Lean into emotion as a writing engine
• Rummage through memory banks for matriarchal characters
• Eavesdrop with your instinctive ear for dialogue and story arcs
• Become more comfortable with the unknown
• Appreciate life's phases as fertile writing material

Class meets Monday nights on Zoom.

Each class will start with a writing exercise. Then we'll share, listen deeply, and build meaning together. Homework and accountability are tools for you to use as you like.

Wild writing is playful and experimental. We test new ideas in the wild. Wild writing can be explosive and edgy, because it is uncensored. Wild writing can also seem absurd and even meaningless - until another wild woman reflects her connection to the writing.

Develop focus and comfort while giving and receiving feedback.

Be ready to explore matriarchal lineages - both real and imagined.

Writing done in class will make it easy for you to start a new project, like a memoir, novel, or play. You can also create a collection of essays, blog posts, or poems from each week's writing.

Build momentum for the project you're already working on, or write just for fun.
