>>>(IMPORTANT: If you would like to give a talk for KFS talk with Bret, Penny or I. We are looking for new ideas so give us a hand with this monthly group about Free Thought and/or Critical Thinking. Thanks!)

This Month: Bret Bolton and Penny Weise will explore some of the more notable and colorful characters that dominated a 75-year span of early Kansas history.  From abolitionists like John Brown to the free love evangelism of Moses Harmon, Kansas began its state history as a freethought “promised land.”

Penny said, "The topics we're covering are all associated with freedom - freedom of speech, separation of church and state, women's rights and equality, and free love.  Just like in the 60's, but with bonnets and buggies.

Join us for a fun night of legends, old photos, and news clippings as we revive the hidden history and "spirit" of our state.
