Big Cypress Wet Walk

Join us for this exciting trip through the Big Cypress Preserve. This is a wet hike! Trail runners are recommended. Your feet will definitely be getting wet. Long pants are recommended. Water can potentially be waist to chest high, but during dry season will likely be knee high. Hiking poles are also recommended as there are holes in the limestone and you’ll want to have support. This hike is not recommended for those who don’t want to get wet or walk in mud. There is the possibility of seeing alligators and snakes. Come prepared with bug spray and sun protection and plenty of water.
