First Event: Meet & Greet at What Cheer Tavern! 🍻

Details
First meetup for the group, first time ever hosting.
Come on down to a “local watering hole” right on the border between Providence and Cranston—What Cheer Tavern. This is a personal favorite of mine, local, good walking distance from the Cove in Edgewood, right between South Providence and Cranston. Truly a local spot. It’s a summer evening so we’ll grab a table at the patio.

Sounds like a good time!
Some info: Parking isn’t too bad in the neighborhood but I’d recommend prior planning, I personally recommend a ride share if you intend to indulge in adult beverages (you do you, it’s the end of the work week). Would hate to see anyone hurt. Parking’s on you though, I’m just here to host and help you feel welcomed and safe in the venue space and during the event.
The location: They have what you’d expect at a local bar, but they do a great job in my opinion. Since it’s a Friday night, expect the usual. It’s a local bar with a nice outdoor area and the staff has been great, so come with good vibes, keep it responsible and respectful, they’re working hard and we’re all adults here. It’s a friendly place, just be mindful of people not at the event. This is our first event and it’s a neighborhood spot. Everyone is coming to this event for a reason. If anything’s off, let me know. I’ll take care of it.
They have barbecue on Sundays in the summer, keep an eye out for the info!
Logistics (from Event info): If you have any questions, drop a comment or message me. Some of you have my contact info so you know what to do, but I politely request if you don’t know me, reach out via direct message first if you want my contact info. This is my first time hosting, so feedback is encouraged. I’m going to keep attendantce at a 10 person cap but +1s are welcome, just say hi!
Who to look for (you can’t miss me): see short dude with button up and jeans. Or just shout my name, I’ll say hi. I look like my picture. We’ll have a table in the back.
If it’s the move, I’d be down for a short walk down to the cove post-event. The goal of this first outing is to get to know each other, talk about future events, and of course share feedback and relax. Let’s get things started!
More events to come!
