Land Trust Days is a statewide, 2 month celebration of the many special places protected by land trusts. Land trusts across the state host activities to share the special places they are protecting for everyone, young and old to enjoy. These events include guided walks, community festivals, full moon walks, farm tours and a whole lot more.
Please note: some events may require registration outside of MeetUp. Please read event descriptions carefully.
Check out our website for Land Trust sponsored activities. Rhode Island Land Trust Days is a project of the Rhode Island Land Trust Council.
Please note that events are posted to this group on behalf of land trusts across Rhode Island. The members of this group generally do not 'meet up' officially, but rather attend the events as participants. If you'd like to attend with other members, feel free to coordinate in the discussion sections of events.

Want to learn more about the native plants of Aquidneck Island and how they can turn your backyard into an oasis for pollinators, birds, and other wildlife? Join Aquidneck Island Land Trust staff while we explore some of the notable plant species found in the gardens and trails at Spruce Acre Farm. Learn about the important relationship between native plants and wildlife and get recommendations on which species to plant at home. We'll also cover some of the major invasive plants found on Aquidneck Island and discuss ways to remove them. At the end of the event, to help kickstart your own "Homegrown National Park", each participant will get to bring home a native potted plant!
