2023 Land Trust Days Kickoff with Burrillville Land Trust

Due to more severe weather than anticipated, this event has been rescheduled from August 25th to September 1st, at the same time. Hope to see you there!

This year, we are kicking off Land Trust Days in Burrillville with the Burrillville Land Trust! Come learn about the historic Eagle Peak Schoolhouse that the land trust has conserved.

The program will start at 9am, with small group tours of the schoolhouse (10 minutes) and an informational talk and tour of the land adjacent to the Schoolhouse, which is in the process of being transformed into a sustainable native meadow. Unfortunately, due to trail closures over safety concerns, the quarry hike has been cancelled. There will be a short speaking program starting at 10am. Parking is along Knibb Road.
