RI Romance Book Club Movie Watch Party May 2025

If you've never joined a watch party before, make sure to sign up for and install Teleparty ahead of time (takes about 5-10 minutes).

This month's book for discussion will be CRAZY RICH ASIANS, by Kevin Kwan. After we discuss the book on Monday, May 18, we'll watch the movie adaptation through Teleparty on Wednesday, which will allow us to chat in real time as we watch the movie together, as if we were in person!

Everyone that joins the "party" needs their own access to HBO Max account (where the movie is currently streaming), as it uses your account to watch the movie. You'll also need to install the free Teleparty Chrome Extension or use the Android mobile app before we start. See above for full instructions.
