Spring Forward Hike at the Blackstone River Bikeway

The Blackstone River Bikeway runs from Central Falls at the southern end to Woonsocket at the northern end.

We will be meeting inside the Tourist Information Center on Route 295 North at 10:00 AM, EDT (Eastern Daylight Time). Shortly thereafter we will head down to the bike path and then hike south along the path for about 3 miles to the Pratt Dam. After a few photo ops we will head back to the information center. Please allow 3 hours for the round trip.

Directions; from the Providence area take Route 146 North to Route 295 North (Exit 9B). The Tourist Information Center is located in Cumberland about 1 mile north past the 146/295 interchange. There is a large parking lot with a Dunkin Donuts and a Baskin Robbins in the Information Center.

If you drive past the information center on 295 North, take the next exit (10) onto Mendon Rd (RI 122) North and get back on 295 South. Follow 295 South to RI 146. Take the RI 146 South exit and then get back onto 295 North again.

Don't forget to set your clocks ahead (Spring Forward) at 2:00 AM on Sunday.
