Hey all,
This is an easy level 2 hike for its shorter distance and relatively flat terrain.
This makes for a great introductory hike with the group. The latest weather conditions will have affected the ground conditions and good hiking boots are recommended. We will be hiking on un-blazed trails through forest and open fields and around the containment berm.
The Great Swamp is an area that has historical significance in the early days of colonial New England.
- Wear clothing appropriate for the weather, have extra water for hydration and always protect yourself from ticks and the diseases they carry.
