Before signing up for this event, please read the entire write up and understand and agree to the enclosed Liability Waiver below.
We'll go on a 8 mile long, more or less, hike on various trails and old roads centered around Mt. Tom in Arcadia Management Area. Wholesome fun in a beautiful, forested setting.
To qualify for this hike, you must have completed a 6 mile walk in the last month and be in excellent physical condition.
We'll meet at the Wood River RIDEM Check Station/Canoe Launch parking lot on Rt 165. We'll leave on our walk promptly at 9 am., so don't be late.
Sturdy hiking boots are recommended. Trekking poles if you have them. We'll travel through rocky, boulder strewn countryside for a good part of the way. Dress appropriately, bring food and water.
Hunter colors are not required.
