Want to know what RHoK is about in 4 minutes? Check out the video from our November 2015 hackathon here!
This is a group for anyone interested in using their coding, design and development, business analysis, project management, content creation or software engineering skills to make the world a better place.
RHoK was started in 2009 by Google, Yahoo!, Microsoft, NASA and The World Bank to bring computer types together with experts in things like natural disasters and climate change. For two weekends a year we join in with the RHoK Global hackathons to build apps and software that do good. In between those two weekends, we'll also be running regular meet-ups so people can come along and continue with the progress started at the global hackathons, or just find out more about what RHoK is about.
Join us for our Winter and Summer weekends (we'll keep the Meetup with dates as they're decided, so stay tuned) as we take part in the global RHoK initiative of Hacking for Humanity!
