Richmond Syncopated Strokes Creative Rhythm Jam

The Richmond Syncopated Strokes Creative Rhythm Jam is an open session for anyone interested in exploring the intersection of visual art and rhythmic expression. We host this gathering for artists, musicians, and anyone curious about how sound can influence the stroke of a brush. Whether you are a painter looking for a new source of inspiration or a drummer wanting to see your beats take shape on canvas, this space is for you to experiment in a relaxed, collaborative environment.

We will provide a selection of basic art supplies and a communal percussion setup, though you are more than welcome to bring your own materials or instruments if you have a favorite. The goal is simply to get people together to see what happens when we sync our creative energies in real time. It is a casual, low-pressure way to meet fellow local creatives and spend a few hours immersed in the process.

If you have been looking for an excuse to get out of the studio and connect with others in the Richmond art scene, we would love to have you join us. Please let us know if you can make it by clicking the RSVP button so we can get an idea of how many people to expect.
