I started this group because I believe there is something incredibly grounding about sitting in a circle and making music together. Rhythm And Soul Djembe Drumming Nights is a space for anyone who wants to learn the fundamentals of djembe playing or just enjoy the communal energy of a drum circle. Whether you have been playing for years or have never touched a drum in your life, you are more than welcome to join us.
We keep our sessions low-pressure and focused on the joy of playing. You do not need to be a professional percussionist to participate; we work on basic rhythms and patterns that allow everyone to find their groove and contribute to the collective sound. If you have your own djembe, please bring it along, but we usually have a few extra drums available for those who are just starting out. Come ready to listen, learn, and connect with others through rhythm.
