About us

Welcome to the Rhythm Roots drum circle. This is a relaxed, low-pressure space for anyone interested in exploring hand drumming, regardless of whether you have ever touched an instrument before. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where we can focus on the simple joy of playing together, listening to one another, and finding a shared beat.

We provide a variety of percussion instruments for those who do not have their own, so please just bring yourself and an open mind. We spend the first few minutes going over basic techniques and rhythm patterns before we settle into a group groove. Whether you are curious about music or just looking for a grounding way to connect with others in the community, we would love to have you join us for a session.
