Firstly, the leadership team would like to extend a whole-hearted welcome to you for taking an interest in our group.
The annual fee for 2026 (valid until the end of Feb 2027) is £10 and payable within 14 days. If the membership fee is not received, it will be understood that you believe the group is not for you and you consent to being removed. By making payment, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the group set out on the home page.

Our events are incredibly popular, and spaces often fill up quickly. Don’t let that discourage you! Plans can often change—meaning waitlist spots frequently open up. So if an event is full, joining the waitlist still gives you a fairly certain chance of attending.
If you are using the Meetup mobile app, check your settings to make sure you have push notifications and email alerts switched on then you will be messaged as soon as an event is published.
If you are a little apprehensive about joining us for the first time, please private message your host before the event and she will arrange to meet with you, so you don’t have to walk into a venue alone.
We know that on occasion, family emergencies and sickness unfortunately happen which may result in last minute cancellation within the requested 48 hour window. Please try to let your host know as soon as possible before the event. We politely request any further details you are willing to share however we do not expect you to divulge any personal information, we are merely concerned for your welfare. This will be kept in confidence by your host if you wish.
