What we’re about
This group is for sophisticated investors who are interested in exploring sophisticated investment strategies in the public markets. The group is moderated by George Baxter, JD, CFA, who is a fund manager for a local long short hedge fund. The group meets on the first Saturday of every month at UTD's Naveen Jindal School of Management on the 2nd floor in room 2.714 at 9:00 AM. Only experienced accredited investors (those with assets greater than $2.1MM not including their primary residence) or industry professionals (analysts, RIA's and portfolio managers) should attend. We will exchange in-depth ideas that have been deeply researched by participants in an effort to generate new investment ideas. We also tend to discuss some of the major current macro trends.
