## West Coast Swing Beginner "Plus+2", a "next step" class for new WCS dancers.

Every Monday in January: 5, 12, 19 and 26
Class: West Coast Swing 7-8:30 pm
Instructor: Mike Recant
Cost: $15/person per class

Join us on Monday evenings in JANUARY for a new WCS series class. The class is for beginners who know their basic pushes and passes and it will take you to the next level. The class will start by improving your current technique and then adding new WCS skills.

This is a perfect "next step" if you have taken the "WCS Beginner Plus" Series at The Dance Space or have taken other "beginner WCS" classes around the RVA area. The material to be included:

WCS Technique:
Dance frame (connection, lead&follow)
Foot technique
Starter Step
Anchoring (anchor step, posting)

WCS Patterns:
Review Sugar Push, Left Side Pass and Underarm Turn
Tucks
Turns and rolls
Whips (three basic endings, advanced whips)

Each week starts with a review or the prior week's material. Reservations not required!
