Practical tools to stay grounded when someone pushes, provokes or oversteps. Stay calm, find your words, keep your balance.
Have you ever been caught off guard by a verbal attack and only found the words hours later? Have you stayed up at night replaying a conversation, thinking of everything you wish you had said?
This two-hour workshop gives you practical tools to stay grounded when someone pushes, provokes or oversteps. You will learn to recognise what is happening, regulate your response, and speak with clarity and confidence — in the moment, not hours later.
This is not a collection of tips and tricks to win arguments. It is a method for re-establishing calm and clarity that becomes part of how you communicate naturally.
What we will cover:

  • Attack awareness — recognising obvious and subtle forms of verbal aggression
  • How to stay centred and calm your body under pressure
  • Understanding and using anger constructively
  • Recognising microaggressions and backhanded praise
  • How to respond when you freeze
  • Redirecting an attack while keeping your balance
  • Setting boundaries without escalating

All of this is practised in a supportive group setting with guided exercises and supervised practice.
No prior experience needed. Open to all.
