What we’re about
Do you miss having intelligent conversations with more depth and substance? Are you interested in learning more about contemporary feminist issues with curious and thoughtful people?
Discussing:
The 4B movement
The impact of the election on American lesbians
Dworkin’s speech: “I want a 24-hour truce in which there is no rape”
And more!
Our goal is to analyze the world around us from a woman-centered, often lesbian-focused, and radical feminist perspective. Women of all sexual orientations are welcome.
Meetings will be Sunday afternoons, every other week, for 3 months. Starts January 12. We only have space for 15-20 women, so send a private message for details if you are interested!

See all- Discussion of "This Bridge Called My Back"Needs location
For this discussion, we will discuss the anthology This Bridge Called My Back: Writings by Radical Women of Color, edited by Gloria Anzaldúa and Cherríe Moraga. It was originally published in 1981.
The topics covered in the anthology are so varied that we didn’t want to pick just one to read, since that would not be fairly representative of the work. So we are asking you to pick one or two (or more if you like) essays from the book, read them, and report to the group the gist of what the essay(s) said.
A PDF of the book can be found here: https://mastersofsexshortcourse.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/cherrc3ade-l-moraga-and-gloria-e-anzaldc3baa-this-bridge-called-my-back-writings-by-radical-women-of-color.pdf
As always, if you wish to attend this discussion and have never attended a previous meeting of this group, please send a private message to me with your email address. We will contact you privately to give you the details about attending the meeting.
