Continuous Delivery From Dev to Prod with Spring Boot Microservices & Kubernetes

You’ve built your app… now what? Spring Boot makes developing production quality microservices easy, but rapidly iterating on these services and then orchestrating and deploying them can be a challenge. This talk will focus on ways to leverage Kubernetes to build a smooth and repeatable path from the creation of a microservice on a developer’s workstation up through a production environment.

About the speaker:
Greg Patrick is a Senior Computer Scientist with broad academic, commercial, and government experience. He holds a Doctor of Science degree in Computer Science from The George Washington University, and his areas of expertise include Software Engineering and Systems,
Parallel and Distributed Computing, Information Assurance, and Mobile Computing. He is delivery focused and proficient in mobile, web, and cloud application development using proper security techniques and a variety of programming languages. Currently, Greg is the Head of Research and Development at APIvista, and in his spare time, he can be found reading, tinkering with some bit of code or another, and enjoying time with his family.
