What we’re about
Put your status on “In a Meeting” and come out and join other people who work from home for a laid back lunch hour. We will meet weekly at fast-casual type restaurants and cafes for lunch to socialize, decompress, and maybe even do a bit of light networking (if it so happens naturally). Keeping the meetups short and regular is to accommodate busy work days while also allowing for fostering friendships. In order for everyone to have a great time, here are the rules:
1. Leave Professional You at home. We're here to make friends, and find a temporary fun/relaxing escape from the everyday grind.
2. Be respectful, courteous, and kind.
3. Harassment of any person while attending any meetup is prohibited. Harassment is defined as any unwanted behavior, physical, verbal, or suggested, that makes a reasonable person feel uncomfortable, humiliated, or mentally distressed.
4. Abuse of any person attending any meetup is prohibited. Abuse is defined as language or behavior that is violent, cruel, belittling, or otherwise intended to harm, insult, or humiliate another Member.
5. Sexually-explicit language and material is prohibited. Sexually-explicit is defined as any communication, language, or material, including a photographic or video image, that relates to or describes sexual conduct.
6. Promoting, selling, or otherwise marketing any product, service, or event not endorsed by the group is prohibited unless approved in advance by the organizer.
