Let's celebrate Fall and go apple picking at Carter Mountain Orchard in Charlottesville.

We'll carpool from there. If you would like to drive, just mention it in the comments. It's a 1 hour drive to the mountain top vineyard and apple orchard.
We'll go apple picking, shop the gift shop, do a wine tasting, drink Bold Rock apple cider, and have lunch out on the deck with gorgeous mountain views.
The Mountain Grill serves: pulled pork sandwiches, pimento cheese sandwiches, wraps, salads, fruit and cheese plates, warm apple pie, freshly made apple cider donuts and apple cider slushies.
(No outside food is allowed to be brought in)
The gift shop sells local food and gifts. Take home apple cider, apple cider donuts, pies, jams, jellies, honey, cute fall decor, lotions, and more.
Wear shoes or boots suitable for walking through the apple orchard as the terrain can be uneven and up and down hill.
