Dune Ridge, Great Marsh and Gleason Heights
Details
Time 1pm CT, 2pm ET
The Dune Ridge trails are great for the number of different ways you can go through them. Our group hasn't been there much this year.
We'll start through the shady woods-- skipping the steep climb on Gleason Heights. There should be some fall colors. If we're lucky we may see deer. Then we'll loop south and pass along one side of the Great Marsh. Back into the woods we'll take a different trail and return to the foot of Gleason Heights. There you will have the choice of a short walk back to the parking lot, or a climb over Gleason Heights.
Difficulty
It is an moderate hike. The total distance is about 3 miles. Most of the trail is fairly level, and parts are paved or gravel.
