Time: 10am central, 11am eastern

This is a straight-line trail that follows under the trees, and beside a wide creek most of the way. We should have the pleasant sound of the water for most of the hike, and be out of the wind. During the warm parts of the year there are many annoying bugs here, so I've saved this trail for later.

Difficulty
East/Moderate. The whole route is just over 3 miles. There are no hills worth mentioning, but the trail is narrow, and there are roots and things that require attention. There are no side-trails so at any point if you are loosing steam, you can turn around and get back to your car without chance of getting lost.

Details

  • Dogs are allowed on leash
  • In case of bad weather the hike may be bumped the next nice day
