Fall Picnic: Cookout, Campfire, & Fun

a big thank you to Kevin, leader of the Explore the Coast meetup group, and member of Rick's Hiking and Fun Group, who invited us to a picnic on his own property in Colona, Michigan.

This will be a great evening to sit around and enjoy a campfire on a cool October evening. Debbie and I have little picnic area in the back of the property with fire ring, picnic tables, and porta-potties. It is a nice getaway spot for us (and you).

We will have a cookout. Debbie and I will provide burgers (and Vegan Burgers). Please bring a side if you like. After we eat, we will sit around and enjoy a campfire. We will provide the makings for S'mores (Vegan option will be available). Sometime along the evening, we will take a hike around the property (About a mile hike). We may head to Hagar Park/Beach (4 miles away) to watch the sunset (6:44 pm).

We will have cornhole boards out ready for play.

Alcohol is allowed. Don't forget a camp chair. I'll be breaking out some hard apple cider that we made in previous years. We will be pressing apples for next year's hard cider, if you are interested to see how it is done.

We will give the address out Friday or Saturday Morning. We live in Coloma, off of Hagar Shore Road, 1 mile east of I-196.

This will be a nice relaxing evening, I hope you can make it.
