Lunch at Paisano's Italian Restaurant, Southampton

dear friends--

i am happy to announce that active and capable group member, Lori has come forward as an organizer, and will start leading events for the group.

we've had a good time and a good turnout in the past when we've eaten at Paisano's Italian restaurant in Southampton https://www.paisanossouthampton.com/ , so i readily agreed when Lori picked it as the location for the first event she's leading for the group.

as usual, we have scheduled lunch for opening time at 11:00. this seems to be the best strategy for a situation where we won't be sure exactly how many people will be coming, and sometimes people are late. it also makes it easier to get separate checks, because they usually aren't too busy yet.

if enough people attend, we can probably have our own room as we've sometimes had in the past.

to make things run more smoothly, please have enough cash to pay your share of the bill: some restaurants don't like splitting up credit card charges, and sometimes we aren't able to get separate checks.

we try to get separate checks when possible, but if not, just figure what your order cost (don't forget beverages, desserts, and your share of appetizers), add about another 30% of your total for tax and tip, and contribute it to the pot.

If you have a coupon you’d like to use at this or any other meal, please check with the organizer first. If we have a coupon for the whole group to use, and there is a limit of one per table, the group coupon will take priority. If not, feel free to use yours.

if you have symptoms of, or have recently tested positive for Covid-19, or any other contagious disease, please DO NOT ATTEND.

Please cancel your RPVP if you can't make it, so we don't wait for you.
