WALK & TALK IN CUMBERLAND'S MONESTARY

This week we're going on a little hike at the Monestary in Cumberland, RI (1464 Diamond Hill Road). The distance is not long so we'll add a few sidetrails to make it about 2.5 miles overall. This will not be on pavement but will be overland so wear appropriate footwear, sneakers will probably work well but so will hiling boots.
I haven't walked this trail before so it will be a new adventure for all of us and I don't think it will be difficult so don't worry about being in shape...certainly I'm not. Lets meet at the Monestary Trail Parking lot which is accessed from Diamond Hill Road, following Monestary Drive, keeping to the right to reach the trail parking lot (first parking lot). Meet at 9:00 am sharp and we'll begin shortly afterwards. This should be fun and I'll look for a coffee spot for a little rest afterward.
