Scala meetup_Day 2

Dear Riga Scala Community,

Join us for a free Scala Meetup hosted by Evolution Engineering on March 31.
Our colleague, a top-notch Scala engineer Oleg Nizhnikov, has prepared a topic to further enhance your understanding of Scala.
This meetup is sure to pique the interest of Scala Bootcamp participants as well as anyone involved in Scala programming.

• Topic: Advanced Scala Type System (Scala Bootcamp extended materials).

You will learn about most corners of the scala-type system, such as type members, structural types and refinement, singleton, and higher-kindred types. You will try to understand subtyping relations between complex kinds and how to determine covariant and contravariant usage. Additionally, you will discuss implicit-driven type inference, Aux-pattern, and how scala 3 does not need it.
