Kum Nye Movement & Relaxation

Details

Opening the Path to Meditation
Kum Nye is a gentle healing system that relieves stress, and transforms negative patterns, by relaxing the body and calming the mind. The key to both our internal well being and a balanced relationship with the world lies within our feelings and sensations. Kum Nye has traditionally been used to open the path to meditation.
This workshop based on Kum Nye Tibetan Relaxation, is an experiential offering, a chance to take a time out from everyday stress and connect with the body.
It is an opportunity to open the senses, calm the mind and connect more deeply with the ground in ourselves that is always there but often gets buried in the demands of everyday life.

We will use

  • Movement
  • Postures
  • Breath
  • Self-massage and
  • Stillness/meditation to deepen our experience.

Kum Nye is so relaxing, I sleep better after class.” - Eva
