What & When:
Nuggets of Wisdom started in 2020 as a virtual space for people to come together for connection, compassion, and inspiration. It remains a shared space of kindness, light, and laughter. Please join us with a quote, lyric, or other wisdom to share!
We meet monthly 2nd Wednesday of each month through ZOOM 7-8:15pm Az time.
Nuggets have been referred to as: "the best of humanity" and "There's love in everybody here." Unbelievably beautiful group of people. Thank you to everyone who helps me create this!
We have a few guidelines at Nuggets to uphold the safety and inclusivity of our space:
- Everyone's voice matters!
- Speak in “I” language: “I feel, when I say, when I do…” Avoid speaking for others or of groups of people, such as "All XXX, he/she/they/always/never" statements.
- Use “and” rather than “but” statements. This practice acknowledges and honors multiple realities.
- Avoid labels, name-calling, criticism of those who feel/think differently. Avoid saying "I disagree." Instead, simply share your opinion: "I feel..." :)
You never know who needs to hear your voice!
Audio/Video:
Please have video on throughout meeting. This fosters a great sense of intimacy and safety. It's ok to arrive late/leave early as long as video is on and audio is not distracting. Even a few minutes of nugget of wisdom is better than none!
