Have you always wanted to try Risography? It is an eco-friendly printing technique from Japan based on soya oil inks and rice paper stencils and is perfect for multiples.
I am offering this introductory workshop to show you how to make a two-colour greeting card, postcard or invitation using analogue techniques of drawing, writing and collage.
This workshop is ideal for people who likes to write, journal and sketch or if you want to make your own invitation cards for a special event.
What you will learn:
- You will get an introduction to Risograph printing machine and the principles of analogue design.
- how to create a two-colour artwork
- stencil making,
- colour overlay
- text and scale
- image registration for colour
The workshop takes place in an artist studio in downtown Munich.
The workshop is aimed not only at experienced creatives, but at anyone who enjoys hands-on design!
Includes:
- Everyone prints their own two-colour motifs
- 10 sheets of A3 format acid free art paper per person (20-40-60 cards depending on your design)
At the end of the workshop, you will have a fresh pile of individually designed artworks or cards to share to your friends and family.
Snacks and drinks are also included. Duration: approx. 3-4 hours depending on group size
