Riverdale Park 5K

The air is crisp, the leaves are showing off, and our sneakers aren’t quite ready for hibernation yet.

This group kicked off in May of this year with the goal to run/walk/jog 5K every Sunday until the weather gets too cold. There's about 6 weeks left of good running weather!

Join us for our Sunday 5K run at Riverdale Park:

When: Every Sunday, 9:30am until the weather gets too cold. ** The host will arrive 10 min early to greet people. The run starts at 9:30am.
Where: Riverdale Park, centre island of the track. ** You need to walk down the hill towards the track. The host will meet you at the track and not at 1 Millbrook Crescent at street-level
Distance: 5K (run, jog, or brisk walk — your pace, your call)
Bring: Good shoes and a water bottle.

RSVP and keep your stride strong all the way into winter!

• Everyone is welcome to bring kids, pets, partners, and to leave whenever you want.
• Using the park track we can all go at our own pace and never really be left behind unless we all finish way ahead of you. :D I think an hour is enough time to dedicate to the run. I'm pretty slow, so you will likely have me around for most of the hour.
• All encouraged to stick around afterwards and enjoy the park or neighbourhood on your own.
