Elkhorn Slough nature art trip
Details
On Wednesday August 6, we will be on expedition to Elkhorn Slough.
“What art can be seen next to the subtle meditation of a Slough?
We will be walking along to four locations for painting with stones, seaweed, fallen branches and leaves. Up to 4 separate groups will enjoy to create and then share, while the egrets fly overhead taking photos with their eyes.”
We will meet at Kirby Park parking lot at 1pm sharp. It’s easy to access from Highway one and Salinas Road. It’s about halfway up the slough, from Moss Landing. There’s ample parking. Park facing the water and then walk to the righthand side (when facing the water) where we will gather. Rupert will be there, wearing a pith helmet, with our trip leader Jeff Caplan. We have 5-8 people coming.
You’re welcome to join the Facebook group Rivers and Tight Bay Area, where you can see photo albums of our previous trips. Bring a snack and something to drink. Feel free to text me for questions, or if you get lost. Rupert (Hart) 6508147873.
