RIVR Virtual MeetUp - AltSpace VR

RIVR is hosting its first-ever AltSpace virtual meetup!

AltSpace VR is a fun, virtual environment where people from all over the world can connect, talk, play games, and have a great time. RIVR is inviting you to join us while we host our very first virtual meetup on the platform. We want to introduce virtual meetups to those who have never been in one before and show people how they can create their own events in AltSpace.

It will be a fun-filled night with mingling, playing games, and learning what AltSpaceVR has to offer. A VR headset isn't needed to join since AltSpace has a 2D mode. All you need is a computer and microphone to talk and interact with others. Don't worry about being a newbie, we're all here to learn about virtual meetups!

Our schedule is as follows:

6:00p - Set Up

6:30p - Tour of the AltSpace environment.

7:00p - Presentation by Cameron Couto and Ryan Pease on how to create and host an event in AltSpace.

7:30p - Go around the room and talk about yourself and one of your latest projects.

8:00p - Mingle and play games
